We transform existing garments into new textile materials and one-of-a-kind fashion pieces. Instead of buying new fabric, we give already-produced clothing a completely new life.
A European fashion house that happens to be radically sustainable.
That sentence is the whole idea. RAMAELLE leads with couture: cut, drape, craft. Underneath it stands one hard promise: we simply refuse to use new fabric.
Through textile manipulation, reconstruction and design, old garments become unique fabrics and contemporary fashion. Made by hand, in Utrecht, one piece at a time.

Why we work with what exists
Mass production is the problem; patience is our answer. Every piece begins as a garment that already lived, and is deconstructed, transformed and cut again into something that never existed before.
