RAMAELLE is a fashion house first. We do not lead with sustainability, we lead with the work. But the house stands on one hard promise: we do not use new fabric. Ever.
Everything below is that one promise, explained from the inside. No slogans, no leaves on the logo, and no claim we cannot show you the receipts for.
01 · Deadstock
Woven, paid for, never used
Silk and linen from mill archives: cloth that was produced and then abandoned. Buying it adds no new production, but we refuse to pretend it erases the old. The harm is sunk; our job is to stop it being wasted.
02 · Vintage
Cloth with decades in it
Household linen and garments from Dutch and Irish auctions, sorted by softness and strength. Old cloth that survived fifty years has proven itself better than any lab test we could run.
03 · Printed accents
Recycled plastic, used sparingly
Buttons and small hardware are 3D printed in the atelier from recycled plastic. It is the one place we allow new making: from old material, in grams not kilos, and only where a vintage button cannot do the job.
